Stretch Wild

share post

I swaddle myself tight and tangled,
body and mind, spirit folds, turns bare.
Nevermind complete restraint;
only meant to keep limit within the lines.

But, oh–

what it could be, to loose the vines
and let my heart stretch wild and free.
