You are the One who knows me,
Who sees me as I am
and loves me in full.
Nothing was kept from You
as You crafted me together;
You knew how You wanted
to shape me.
Widen the wonder of my heart,
expand it to make space
to hold more of You,
though sometimes
I do not know
what I ask.
But this I do desire—
a measured dose of knowing
that knits us
in a deeper dwelling,
replacing hesitation
with hope,
distance with intimacy.
