To All Who Call on Him

The LORD is near to all who call
on Him,
to all who call on Him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who
fear Him;
He hears their cry and saves them.
-Psalm 145:18-19

Truths to Rest My Heart:

God is near, close, to everyone who calls on Him.

Who calls on Him in truth.

What is this truth?

• God’s Word is truth
• God’s character is truth
• God’s promises are truth

Those who fear Him.

Fear = reverence, acknowledging His holiness, power, and sovereignty.

God loves and honors those who fear Him.

Not only does God listen to the cries of His children, but He hears them, and He responds.

And, not only does HE respond, but He saves.

He is gracious and compassionate.

He is truth.

He hears His children and is mighty to save.

Takeaway:

Lean on Him. Trust Him. Hold to His truth. Believe He hears and saves.
